On Sunday, October 7th, 2018 the 9th Annual ‘Crosse Out Cancer is coming to the Johnson Controls Hall of Fame Village Sports Complex.
Crosse Out Cancer is a large lacrosse college showcase featuring 20+ teams across the male & female game. Athletes arrive from DI, DII & DIII programs are are paired up on the field to show their talents, have fun and make a difference in the community. This one day event will consist of over 20 games and the goal for this year is to raise over $20,000. To date, Crosse Out Cancer has raised over $155,000 in support of breast cancer research. Four food trucks will be on site which include, Betty’s Burgers, Sweet Spot, Sauced (mobile wood fired oven) and Momma Wade’s Smokehouse.
The showcase will be held on all four fields at the sports complex. “This is a great day for Burning River and our community to have the support of a world class site like Johnson Controls Hall of Fame Village sports complex,” said Woody Calleri, Director. “Their support of our ‘Crosse out Cancer!’ event is proof of their commitment to finding a cure for breast cancer.”
